This 83-Year-Old Hinshaw & Culbertson Attorney Has No Plans for Retirement

November 6, 2025 by Becker Public Relations

¬

Neil S. Rollnick has spent over 50 years in the legal profession, and says retirement is not something that’s attractive to him. The Hinshaw & Culbertson Miami partner is still excited about law, handling clients, and negotiating and dealing with people. Rollnick has been at Hinshaw since 2011, and focuses his practice on real estate and banking. Before his time at Hinshaw, Rollnick spent 10 years at Adorno & Yoss as the chairman of the real estate department. He was also an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law from 1989 to 1995.

Rollnick credits much of his success and way of life to The Art of War by Sun Tzu, a book he picked up after hearing how many corporate leaders used it as a road map for rebuilding businesses or creating businesses. He applies its philosophical teachings to his practice and life.

“Life doesn’t have to be a war,” Rollnick said. “You can move very gently into the teachings—you can apply them to making eggs for breakfast in the morning.” See https://www.law.com/dailybusinessreview/2025/10/22/this-83-year-old-hinshaw–culbertson-attorney-has-no-plans-for-retirement/

Hinshaw & Culbertson Expands Miami Office With Partner Jason E. Rosen, A Litigation-Transactional Double Threat

September 8, 2025 by Becker Public Relations

With three generations of legal success in his blood and accreditation to practice law in five states, it was a no-brainer for Hinshaw & Culbertson to welcome Jason E. Rosen with open arms to the firm’s Miami office. Rosen was recently featured in a Daily Business Review/Law.com story about his practice, his father, Michael J. Rosen, in a national white-collar defense firm based in Miami, and Jason’s grandfather, E. David Rosen, deemed a “legal lion” who began his legal career as a federal prosecutor in the mid-1950s and represented organized crime figures.

As a business litigator, Rosen splits his practice between dispute resolution and corporate transactional work. He represents clients on contracts, partnerships, shareholder issues and business torts. On the transactional side, he provides practical guidance on day-to-day operations and corporate deals, on issues ranging from entity formation and governance to contract drafting, vendor negotiations, and mergers and acquisitions.
