Neil S. Rollnick has spent over 50 years in the legal profession, and says retirement is not something that’s attractive to him. The Hinshaw & Culbertson Miami partner is still excited about law, handling clients, and negotiating and dealing with people. Rollnick has been at Hinshaw since 2011, and focuses his practice on real estate and banking. Before his time at Hinshaw, Rollnick spent 10 years at Adorno & Yoss as the chairman of the real estate department. He was also an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law from 1989 to 1995.
Rollnick credits much of his success and way of life to The Art of War by Sun Tzu, a book he picked up after hearing how many corporate leaders used it as a road map for rebuilding businesses or creating businesses. He applies its philosophical teachings to his practice and life.
“Life doesn’t have to be a war,” Rollnick said. “You can move very gently into the teachings—you can apply them to making eggs for breakfast in the morning.” See https://www.law.com/dailybusinessreview/2025/10/22/this-83-year-old-hinshaw–culbertson-attorney-has-no-plans-for-retirement/
