Miami’s Intercredit Bank Purchased by Ecuadorian Businessman and Banker

Dr. Fidel Egas has purchased Miami’s Intercredit Bank for an undisclosed sum. He is the majority owner of Banco Pichincha, the largest private commercial bank in Ecuador. Dr. Egas purchased Intercredit Bank personally and, as a result, the Bank is not a part of the Banco Pichincha Holding Group. According to Intercredit Bank’s President/CEO Simon Cruz, the Bank’s management team and staff of 76 employees at its four branch locations in Miami-Dade County will remain intact. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/article244766632.html
